Tony McGivern
Chief Technology Officer

Tony joined Adeptra in 2003 from US Internetworking, a publicly traded application service provider (ASP) serving large banks and multinational clients, where he had served as CTO/VP of Corporate Strategy. Previous to that he was CTO at Interpath Corporation, later merged into USi, which was responsible for providing technology management and leadership expertise to deliver complex projects consistently and simultaneously. Tony brings extensive experience in the creation and management of production-level delivery architectures and service models. Prior to serving in the Australian army, Tony earned a Bachelor of Business in Technology Management from the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia.
Simon Smith
Chief Financial Officer

Simon joined Adeptra at the beginning of 2001 and leads the Company’s Finance, Legal and Human Resource teams. Prior to Adeptra he held senior financial executive positions with IFR Systems Inc., a US electronic test and measurement business, and GEC-Marconi Instruments. Simon has extensive experience of managing the finance function, corporate planning and financial strategy. He is a qualified accountant and holds an MBA from the University of Durham, England.
Sir Colin Southgate
Non-executive Chairman

Sir Colin Southgate has served as Chairman of Adeptra’s Board since March 2000. He has been involved with technology companies since 1960. After ten years with ICT/ICL, he formed Software Sciences, which became part of Thorn EMI. He became Chief Executive of Thorn EMI in 1987 and Chairman in 1989. In the same year he was appointed to the Board of PowerGen PLC and retired as its Chairman in July 1996. He was knighted in the Queen's Birthday honours in June 1992 and retired as Chairman of EMI, which had de-merged with Thorn, in July 1999. In January 1991 he was appointed a Director of the Bank of England and retired from that position in May 1999. Today he is Chairman or a non-executive director of various technology companies.
