Regulatory situation

On the 1st of February new regulations came in to force from Ofcom, resulting in the majority of operations switching automated message detection (AMD) off partially or completely. Adeptra understands the challenges the industry faces and the opportunities that come from these challenges. The regulation changes include:

  • A requirement to comply and evidence of compliance with Ofcom’s 3%  abandonment rate1 to avoid a fine of up to £2 million
  • A means of effectively dealing with answer phone connects to:
  • Reduce the current 70% non-productive connects routed to agents
  • Increase the number of attempts to contact a consumer
  • Improve agent satisfaction & motivation by reducing valueless connects that prevent them from reaching their objective

Adeptra is offering a means of managing AMD responses and abandoned  calls whilst effectively retaining the use of your dialler.
